Your Wild Salmon Rivers sponsorship covers expenses from arrival to and departure from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Not included are: fishing licenses, alcohol, transportation to/from your home to Petropavlovsk, trip and medical evacuation insurance (required), visa fees, and gratuities for camp staff and guides.

All our expeditions are in high demand, with limited space. We suggest that you sign up early. A 50% deposit is required to reserve a space. Final sponsorship payments are due no later than 90 days in advance of your departure. All sponsorships (individual and group) are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to participate due to a death or serious illness in the immediate family (i.e. airline/travel insurance standards), you may apply your sponsorship toward a future expedition, less a 20% administrative charge, based upon the full sponsorship price.

Program Context

You are certain to have a wonderful trip to Kamchatka and enjoy spectacular angling. However, you will do so within the context of a broader Wild Salmon Rivers scientific and conservation program. All WSR Kamchatka expeditions are undertaken for:

• Scientific purposes such as determining life history, range, distribution, population structure, abundance, migration patterns, longevity, and intra/inter-species interactions for rainbow trout/steelhead.
• Support of conservation objectives by providing fiscal support for protected areas, anti-poaching patrols, and sustainable harvest management.
