The wild rivers of Kamchatka are virtually untouched reserves of pristine wildlife habitat.
Getting Proactive

Some of the threats facing Kamchatka, such as overfishing, poorly planned industrial development, and reckless energy and mineral development, can be minimized if we are proactive and work together. Your assistance in gathering scientific data through non-lethal means (flyfishing) will be instrumental in the establishment of nature reserves and encouragement of development of sustainable local industries, including ecotourism and sustainably managed fisheries.

With your participation, we provide scientific, logistical and financial support for salmon conservation. Building on a 20 year partnership with Russia's Moscow State University, these expeditions support the Kamchatka Steelhead Project whose goal is to inventory, research and protect wild steelhead and trout and their habitats on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
